G. Brooke Lester is assistant professor of Hebrew Scriptures and director of digital learning at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (Evanston, Illinois). He studies innerbiblical allusion, or the ways in which biblical texts intentionally evoke other biblical texts.
